Calibration

With the powerful calibration features of program CAL, CODE41 is made adaptable to user test methods. CAL evaluates the constants in the postbuckling theory of ECT and BCT as a function of the instrumentation used in determining inputs to PPR. This calibration feature enables PPR to determine stress-strain properties for input to ECT with less than a complete set of paperboard inputs and broadens the predictability of box strength. A set of default calibrations based on common testing methods and average containerboard performance is provided.
